therapy for anxiety Perfectionism & PEOPLE PLEASING

Do you identify as an over-achiever and find yourself constantly feeling overwhelmed trying to live up the expectations you and others set on yourself?

Chances are you have become successful in stepping into the multiple roles you play in life- such as an employee, business owner/entrapreneur, student, parent, spouse, caretaker, partner and friend. Your ability to show up and be a reliable figure for everyone else has aided you in life, however it comes with cost- yourself.

When everyone, including yourself expects you to show up perfectly or you fear disappointing others it can lead to symptoms of anxiety, irritability, insomnia, overwhelm and burn-out.

My approach in working with the anxious overachiever is using combination of mindfulness based CBT, compassion-focused therapy, solution-focused therapy and psychodynamic therapy to help address both the internal processes and implementation of behavioral tools for effective change.
