healing through connection.
My Approach
I have an eclectic therapeutic approach and do not believe that one size fits all- instead I tailor my approach to best fit your needs. Based on my trainings and expertise I primarily draw from Attachment-Based Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and Internal Family Systems. This means that our work will be looking at how your past is currently effecting you by helping you get to the root of these issues while also discussing concrete steps you can make towards fostering change and growth in the present.
Some other modalities I may incorporate based on your needs include Solution-Focused Therapy Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In working with couples I am trained in the Gottman Method approach for couples therapy. I also provide LGBTQ+ and trans-affirming care.

About me
I became interested in learning about early child development and attachment theory while getting my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Chapman University located in Orange, CA and chose my capstone project on the relationship between attachment styles and childhood trauma.
After graduating with a B.A. I worked in residential, outpatient and school settings with a diversity of clients from trauma-work, eating disorders, adolescents specialized, family dynamics, substance use issues and general mental health concerns.
I completed my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Mount St. Mary’s and have been practicing therapy since 2018.
I also completed my 200 hour power yoga teacher training certification in 2015.
